What a year it’s been for The Children’s Air Ambulance. This time last year, the service was taken over by The Air Ambulance Service and after a year of hard work and fundraising, last week the helicopter carried out its first emergency transfers. In 2013 we will be launching our full emergency transfer service, rapidly flying critically children to specialist centres that can provide them with the treatment they urgenty need in order to have the best possible chance at survival and recovery.
